Tom thrives working in front of any audience, has entertained at benefit galas, corporate events, conferences, and over 200 television shows with crowds as large as 10,000 people. For over sixteen years, Tom opened for The Ellen DeGeneres Show, American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, and many more Hollywood shows.
After Tom’s oldest daughter was born with a heart defect in 2010 (she’s healthy now), Tom began emceeing heart related charity events, which led to him becoming an auctioneer. Tom takes pride in entertaining audiences at benefits, as well as working closely with the charity to make sure the auction and fundraising is as successful as possible.
Tom’s auctioneering has broken in-room fundraising records for premiere benefits including the Chicago Heart Ball, Middle Tenneseee Heart Gala, and Moffitt’s Magnolia Ball in Tampa.
Tom Riles is the proud husband to Lucy Riles, father to three (plus three dogs), and founder of the largest community of dads in the world, Life of Dad. Tom and Lucy recently co-authored their first book together, Mom vs. Dad: The Not-So-Serious Guide to the Stuff We’re All Fighting About.
After the birth of their special needs daughter, and the outpouring of support they received, Tom and Lucy Riles realized it was time to give back. Tom started working closely with heart related charities on their events and improving fundraising, which he has now expanded to working closely with 501(c) Non-Profit organizations all around the world.
